Take the Leap!

30 days of yoga challenge #prana #sweatpink #fitapproach

When I think about yoga, the first thought that comes to mind is release. Yoga relaxes me and makes me feel loose.

That’s why I am SO excited to participate in prAna’s Take The Leap 30 days of Yoga Challenge with Sweat Pink. I plan to pigeon my way to a more flexible and injury free 2015!

For me, the biggest challenge when it comes to yoga is lack of flexibility. #TakingtheLeap with prAna and Sweat Pink is a great way for me to find strength in my poses.
My favorite place to yoga is my home because it is so quiet when everyone's gone for the day.

Here’s a photo of me in my very best pigeon:

I tag: Marcia from Marcia's Healthy Slice,
Michelle from This Momma Runs,
and Teri from Reinventitude.

I want these fabulous bloggers to share their very best yoga pose photos, this fun MADLIB and of course, I challenge them to join me on this fun 30 day yoga journey

Come on yogis! #TaketheLeap with me!

  1. Such a fun challenge! I am excited for it for sure. Yoga has really helped me in this last year with my stiff runner muscles.

    1. I can't wait to see your poses. Even if it's just Savasana! Counts, you know.

  4. So great.
My best friend is in love with yoga and has been trying to convince me to sign up for her studio for the past year. I think this week is the week I fall for it! :)

    1. I think you should! I've been doing yoga for almost as long as I've been running (20 years or so) and it has been amazing. The best part about yoga is that you are always learning. The poses always have something to teach you, even if you're experienced!

  5. I love that there is going to be so much yoga and encouragement for the next month. And from so many runners--I truly credit yoga with keeping me out of PT for several of my training cycles!

  7. Lalalalala I don't hear you and I totally looked away (right) before I saw that you tagged me. I've been blowing off yoga all year and have the petrified hamstrings to prove it because the class I usually go to is so crowded. Lame excuse, I know. I love yoga and need more of it in my life. Maybe I can show you something more than corpse pose. But I can't make any promises.

    1. I do yoga regularly, so it shouldn't be too much of a challenge. The only challenge will be posting every day! LOL!
