11 Amazing Holiday Gifts for Runners

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. I received complimentary items from Smitty Lettering, RUNchie, Sudio, Tesalate, and roadID in exchange for social sharing.

The holidays are quickly approaching! In fact, I'm already participating in a gift exchange with some of my fellow bloggers. It's a lot of fun to see what everyone is asking for and receiving for the holidays. For this year's holiday gift list for runners, I'm sharing some items that I've tried out and liked. Several of the items I'm sharing are from smaller businesses. It's been a tough year for a lot of them and I want to show them some love!

Cindy Smith reached out to me earlier this month to share her Etsy shop with me. Cindy makes fun and unique running items. I'm in love with this Chicago Marathon map and mug, which she made for me when I asked. Her Etsy page features Boston and NYC as well, but she will customize any item to commemorate your special race. She also sent me some stickers which I immediately put on my water bottle.

It's no secret how much I love Chil Wellness CBD products. Prior to trying Chil, I tried a few different CBD products with varying results. I have to honestly say that the Chil Wellness products really help me with my RA symptoms. Chil Wellness was started by the father of a child with RA and supports the Arthritis Foundation. They offer a variety of products for athletes as well. Use my code wendyrunner15 to save 15% on your order.

November is National Running Safety Month and roadID has a bunch of fun holiday themed IDs to keep you safe! I'm in love with the Christmas Sweater Wrist IDs. This set comes with red, green, and blue bands so you can be color coordinated throughout the holidays! It's a fun gift for a running friend or for yourself. Use my code SHIPSFREE_WENDY for free shipping. They're also 20% off right now!

A few months ago, I shared a product review for Sudio ETT Noise Cancelling Earbuds. I'm still running with these! They're a lower cost alternative to the pricier AirPods and they sound great. I think they look good too. Use my code wendy15 to save 15% before December 9.

They stayed in my ears for 10 sweaty miles!

Last spring, I ordered a Wisconsin-themed t-shirt from FanFam, a small company out of Wisconsin. The t-shirt is unique and has been a conversation starter every time I wear it. When I saw these Social Profile Crew Neck Sweatshirts, I knew I had to share them on my gift list. I mean, how fun are these? Totally customizeable, comes in a variety of colors, and perfect for the Instagrammer or Blogger in your life.

What would yours say?

Laura from the RUNchie sent me a couple RUNchies to try and all I can say is where have you been all my miles? I never have enough pockets and my SpiBelt barely can fit my ginormous iPhone, much less anything else. The RUNchie is a scrunchie with a hidden 3" zipper pocket. You could wear it in your hair. Or if you're like me, around your wrist. Finally, a place to put my car key and chapstick. There are a variety of colors to choose from. This would be the perfect gift for a stocking stuffer or gift exchange!

I always like to keep a towel by my side when I work out at the gym, go to CrossFit, or run on my treadmill. Tesalate, an Australian company, has upped the towel game with these fun, colorful workout towels! These double sided towels are anti-bacterial and odor free. I love mine! Sure beats the old grungy towels I have been using. Sweating with style...

I think he sells it better than me

I stumbled upon these hats from Her Tribe Athletics while scrolling through Instagram. Handmade in New Hampshire, these fleece lined beanies are so cute. They promise not to ride up. Some are available with a detachable pompom; others have a high ponytail opening. Her Tribe Athletics was started by a woman who lost 70 pounds through exercise and wants to build a tribe of women who want to have fun wearing her cute athletic clothing.

There's a cute donut-themed hat! I'm on the waiting list for the moose-themed trail hat.

After spending so much time running the trails this year, you may have noticed I'm sharing more nature photos! I'm kind of limited by the quality of the photos my phone can take. Recently, I found these clip on lenses and have been playing with them the past couple of weeks. This set comes with a wide angle lens, a fish-eye lens, and a 10X macro lens. The lenses are really easy to put on your phone and you can use them on the front or back camera. They're made of glass and the quality is impressive for such an inexpensive product. They're small and light, and I just clip them onto my spibelt or pocket while I'm running.

I came across this handwarmer/charger combo completely by accident, but I'm putting it on my Christmas list. With winter right around the corner, I think this would be perfect to slip in my jacket pocket on my runs. I also like that it doubles as a charger! Multi-tasking is always a win. So is saving the environment by not using those throw away hand warmers. This thing warms on both sides so you can hold it in both hands. It comes in several colors and has great reviews!

No gift list of mine would be complete without a good read! I'm currently reading this one and from page one, it sucked me in. Better than the last rom-com I read, that's for sure! Win At All Costs: Inside Nike Running and Its Culture of Deception by Matt Hart is the story of the investigation of famed coach Alberto Salazar and the secrets surrounding Nike's Oregon Running project. Adam and Kara Goucher were very involved in this investigation and they are featured prominently. Really well reviewed and I'll have a full review of my own coming soon!

What's on your running wish list? I've got some fun gift ideas that won't break the bank!  @oldrunningmom @roadID @chilwellness @sudio @TheMattHart #running #runchat #holidayshopping

What is on your holiday wish list? Do you have any suggestions for fun and unique gifts for runners?

  1. Looks like a bunch of great ideas! I love how well the Etsy people are doing this year. I bought lenses similar to those a few years ago. Sadly they fell apart. I'm sure those are better quality.

  3. Oh wow, Wendy, there are two things I would order immediately: the lenses and the handwarmers!
What fabulous ideas! I will have a lookout for them on European websites (there's always a lot of shipping and tax issues when ordering from the US).
The book sounds intriguing, too. Thanks!

  4. So many great ideas, Wendy! Last week's WRD had me in my Her Tribe Athletics Ponytail beanie. I absolutely love it & have had it for a couple of years!

I need the Runchie, for those times I don't have a pocket for keys. I have one hat that has a pocket in it & I love that (although why haven't I worn it in forever?).
