  4. This reminds me of our old Tuesdays on the Run Linkup. SO many topics, and yet sometimes the well is dry.

    1. You know what I miss? The old Wednesday Word prompts. Sometimes I had to dig deep but I came up some of my most creative posts.

  5. Yes, I did -- thank you Wendy! You'll be able to see what I came up with on Tuesday. I don't usually have trouble thinking of topics, but occasionally, like all of us, I do need a little help.

I may just have to write this post too -- if I can come up with more!

  7. I love this idea! Thank you for sharing. I will definitely be referring back to this on days Im staring at the screen with nothing to write about. That's why i love link-ups- they give us some sort of structure around topics!

  11. Ha - I always do a running treasure hunt when I'm doing a long run. During my DIY marathon in 2018 we collected an entire household of furniture seen in people's front gardens!

  12. Yes, absolutely brilliant! Up to now, I have always had a fairly good idea of my next post, but this is VERY useful for more experienced bloggers than I am. Thanks, Wendy, for your good advice. You are my role model!

    1. Aww, thank you! I love your blog! Your international life gives you a lot of material.

  13. Yes! I do like the more personal posts like "what you saw on your last run", stuff like that where one runner's post is most likely going to be different than another runner's post. After blogging for 7 years ( which I know that is not long in comparison to some others), I am finding posts like "tips for running in the cold", "tips on running in the heat", "recovery tip", etc. to be so over done. What are your thoughts on that?

    1. 100% agree! But I think even those well-worn topics can be made creative--it's all about putting a spin on them. I'm just providing the start...

  14. I might just have to challenge myself to blog (or Instagram) every single one of these! Thank you.

  15. What great ideas - not only for other bloggers to be inspired by, but what a great idea for a blog post in and of itself!
